Flags Half-Staff 2/22-2/27 for State Rep Peter Kocot of Northampton

Please note the day of interment for Massachusetts State Representative Peter Kocot (1st Hampshire District of Northampton, MA) is Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
Therefore, according to a Proclamation issued by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker on 2-22-2018, the United States flag and Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag at all state buildings should remain at half-staff until sunset tomorrow, Tuesday, February 27th.
Following sunset on Tuesday the 27th please schedule flags to return to full staff.
This gubernatorial order applies to:
1. The main or administration building of each public institution of the Commonwealth, e.g. town and city halls
2. Other state-owned or state-controlled buildings
3. All state military installations

Please be advised that Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings effective immediately, today February 22, 2018, until the day of interment, in honor of Massachusetts State Representative Peter Kocot (1st Hampshire District of Northampton, MA), who passed away on February 22, 2018. Additional details surrounding the date of interment will be provided once received by the Governor’s Office.
