Fall Road Work
The DPW will begin fall road work on Wednesday, September 27. Work includes the paving of King Street near Forge Pond, Circuit Street from Hanover Street (center of town side) to Myrtle Street, Walnut Street, Meeting Hill Lane, Indian Brook Lane, and the cold planing and overlay of Main Street in the vicinity of Cedar Street as well as the cold planing and overlay of the Maplewood Drive cul-de-sac. Work will be performed by the Town's paving contractor, T.L. Edwards. Motorists can expect significant delays, especially on the major roads, and are advised to seek alternate routes. Detail police officers will be on hand to assist motorists. We thank you for your patience while we progress through this much needed work to these roadways.
