The newly established Bylaw Review Committee was created at Town Meeting in 2006.  We are a committee of five citizens at large, with the purpose of continuous review of the Town By-laws to keep them current with the needs of the Town.  This can be accomplished in the following ways:
 

(1) When a Board, Commission or Committee proposes a change, we will work with you to identify the questions which are bound to come up at Town meeting and help you develop easily understood answers.

(2) At a public hearing prior to Town Meeting, we will jointly with the sponsoring committee present the proposed bylaw changes to the public for their questions and discussion. Your responsibility will be to have a representative present to explain the changes.
